Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!!!

Don't tell me you've never heard of them. Where in the universe did you come from?

Or even so, have you ever pondered about them when those pubic hairs started to grow on you? Most likely..you've moved over.

Compared to the FIRST(est) "POWER RANGERS", today's just seemed to flop ..and flop..from one revision... to another...and another..and another. There'd never been that revision that surfaced the first "POWER RANGERS" series of the old days. With today's 3d generated cartoons, the passing of the POWER RANGERS story from here to there didn't capture that much the hearts of the kids today.

My favorite character by then was BILLY, the Blue Ranger (TRICEROTOPS!!!). I have always loved the geek type <---silent, intelligent, savior--->. It was in ABS-CBN when I first learned about them. <--(Tagalog dubbed series weren't famous that time<--I never thought my brain had been bleeding watching it in English). I could still remember it was followed by the series "ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?" which was also in its original language. It had also been known together with the Power Ranger days (were there revisions of this series?). It had scared me several times, that I had almost thought of extending my sleep to 48 hours after my goosebumps fell back.

ZACK-TRINI-JASON-TOMMY-KIMBERLY-BILLY <--- this was their "mighty-morphin-power-rangers" formation. Everytime they transform into their ranger form, this blazing screen flashes as each one of them say --"MIGHTY-MORPHIN-[COLOR]-RANGER"..and quickly are they suited with helmets, together with these ever-fitting uniforms in their respective colors.

RITA was the rangers' mortal enemy. She had sent billions of those wavy-colored thingy striking different objects...transforming them into monsters...then into its gigantic form that would then destroy buildings sending thousands of sparks to the people below. RITA was then acquainted with this ...I-FORGOT-HIS-NAME ogre as they together sent havoc to Earth and as well, became the rangers' mortal enemy.

RITA would then point her staff and say "GO DESTROY THE RANGERS!!!!"..as this wavy-colored thingy comes out from her staff and travels millions of miles to Earth...striking the monster-transformed object into its gigantic form! (AMAZING..clap your hands kids!!!!).

TRINI and ZACK were then replaced by AISHA and ADAM respectively. The rangers had also evolved their "MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS" powers too (HAHA!). Most likely, it was the 2nd season when this turned over, and it had been cooler than the first one. Before they would go into their mighty-morphin-power-ranger-form, they would transform first into a NINJA...yes..they were given NINJA POWERS! Same thing....this blazing screen appears as they say their ninja-ritual-blabla before they transform.

Hayyy... (*SIGHS)... I just suddenly remembered about them during the TWS meeting. Marianne mentioned about power rangers to be the FEATURED ARTICLE for the next Weekly Sillimanian issue. I've never been updated about the rangers and from them I've learned about the rangers after the series finished (pathetic me to have learned it just now). ---

I've searched in the Internet about them....so Claudine was right <--the one who played
JASON, Red Ranger, (Austin St. John) became a pornstar...a GAY pornstar. Yellow Ranger (Trini) died last 2001 in a car accident. Johnny Yong Bosch, Black Ranger (Adam), voices as KUROSAKI ICHIGO in the anime BLEACH (AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!), and is a member of the band "EYESHINE". The rest are still alive and I've sought a few pictures of them with their present human forms (no more ranger transformations).

BILLY (BLUE RANGER)
ADAM (BLACK RANGER)
KIMBERLY (PINK RANGER)

I know you would still recognize them, they have just grown a number of wrinkles. They surely have grown mature ...and old, but, they were the faces that marked the ranger lines to the children of those times.

Just as we've grown these pubic hairs in us, they've also moved over in their lives, facing the real havocs in this world. Some have died, but left a memory to us. They may be ancient now, but forever shall they be remembered...by a person that once had a kid's heart...saying the line "MIGHTY MORPHIN BLUE RANGER!".

Intrusions

My brain is cracking!

That ....(GRRRRRR) SEAN is really annoying me a lot. I told him I'll have done that T-shirt design he asked me to do by tomorrow. How dare is he flashing that wrinkling faceeee to me as if he's paid me a billion bucks for that!!!! He should have been reminded that he just BEGGED it from me..and I accepted it for FREEEEEE!!!!!!!! I'm not finished with it, and besides, it's the least important thing to work on right now!!! And he still keeps on popping out anywhere! I still have a BIOLOGY exam tomorrow....and...grrr, that NCM exam as well! And I have to update the TWS website before I get kicked out from my job!!!!! WAHH shouldn't have entertained him at the first place.

-----

Kuya Micah got in for the musical play "Godspell". Chai did not make it though, but at least she had her feet step on the stage of LUCE AUDITORIUM as she sang and dance during the auditions. I was planning to audition for that play, but my name was already listed in the callback list for another play.

The Green Mile

I overslept, that's why I got late for the NCM (Nursing Care Management) class.

----

Nick got this 9 in 1 DVD that has a "The Green Mile" movie in it. I stayed with him in the room for the movie. I've been interested to watch it long time ago, but haven't thought of buying a copy of it.

It was a worthwhile 3 hour (i guess) concentration in front of the screen, with Tom Hanks and
Michael Clarke Duncan in the film. Both of us got weepy in the end. (have you ever tried the swallowing-technique---where you get to thwart those tears from falling).

On the day of my judgment, where I stand in front of God, what will I say if he asks me why I killed one of his miracles.

It was a great movie indeed, not to mention Tom Hanks as one of the reasons. The casts did a great performance, and the whole story (a Stephen King novel based movie) was just heart-warming and inspiring (2 thumbs up for the mouse as well).

I've started to love Tom Hanks since I watched "Cast Away", followed by another of Robert Zemeckis' film..."Forrest Gump", where I did a lot of weeping when I watched it several times. Then again I got a full view of Tom Hanks' team-up with Di Caprio in the movie "Catch Me If You Can". Working with Steven Speilberg, Tom Hanks again played another uncanny role in the hysterical movie "The Terminal", leading me to admire him more.

-----

We finished at 1 pm, realizing that we haven't reserved food for lunch. And...I can feel my stomach grumbling right now.

---

I overslept....that's why I got late in our NCM class. I really got tired last night; had me slept for an hour after that Green Mile movie.

It was a messy...very messy room I had to clean last night. The three morons didn't even help me..(Prince Nick, Duke Roy, and King Jonas). They were fancying that Korean movie that so far didn't grab my attention. Nothing to be amazed with..since all it did was play a sissy mellow song from the start of the movie...'till the end (just had the ears working).

Good thing Mrs. Abalos was considerate. At the end of the class, she just asked me
why I was late (I didn't even know that I was suppose to be early for a quiz!). I even had to drag Jonah inside the building just to accompany me to the room (haha! good thing I got across on her ...really got nervous on that! ).

Inferno at cerberus

Oh my God, I've never been quarantined this horribly!

Cerberus Internet Cafe is hot as hell (really!). Their airconditioner is broken, and the only ventilation so far is just the doorway. Finding it closed a while ago, I asked the internet concierge if I can have the door ajar....or much better.. smash it completely (what the hell happened to your airconditioner by the way?!?!?!?).

Except for the usual stink, this i-cafe is far more better among those I've been. Why? --because it's cheaper; there'd never been internet interventions so far--and only a number of things annoy me concerning the atmosphere. Though as I said... it's stinky, and it's..yeah, hot as hell right now (but what's a North Pole like-Giorgio Armani scented internet cafe if the internet connection is crap and slow as a speeding snail--and there'd be those aliens who keep on staring at your screen as if they're trying to melt it down). The moderators seem to be stupid as well (God forgive me), and....woooh, do they know about air fresheners?

I've been coming back here a lot of times and luckily I've survived the nose-wrecking air this place is circulating. And maybe, this would be the last moment they'll see me, unless they'll have their aircon fixed...and..the air freshener of course.

-----------

Bla bla.

So last night was John Ray's birthday blow out, though he had his bday 2 nights ago. We ate at How Yang fastfood which was quite identical with Chowking and Food Net (!). Their food was bland...but it was a funny night with my friends after all.

----

The day went fine today. And finally I got my wallet empty (next allowance would be this 25th), and that had me borrow money from Bench for a computer rental.

I'm supposed to finish two things tonight: the VCF streamer Kuya Archie asked me to do; and the cross linker's T-shirt Sean has BEGGED from me (I really hate people begging for something, all with those watery eyes...and their pathetic faces!).

(it's bad to complain to things you've accepted to do, my apologies for now---if this place could've just been Antartica).

PC 1 seems to be having memory intrusions while Adobe keeps on freezing everytime I open it, which further tells me that tonight's worries should be laid then for tomorrow.
----

I'm quite happy right now because Katrina's phone rang (hehe--- :P). I'll spare an hour for a phone talk with her later tonight (nyahaha).

That's it...finished nothing but a 15-peso-blog-entry.

(the stars are brightly glittering outside---a remedy from this infection).

Friendless and wandering

An ill-fated defeat for Morales - hail Pacquiao.

Sunday. The streets are quite vacated. The usual noise is temporarily caved in...and what else but the fight between Pacquiao and Morales.

While everyone was waiting for the fight to begin, I was put into a hurry, and dressed up for the mass. I was 25 minutes late, but it was still fine, I caught up with the worship song.

I planned not to stay in the dormitory since I have anticipated an ear-cracking disaster ahead, (the Pacquiao-Morales-tv-watching-bonding-blasting-blabbing-dormmates-saba-kasamok-blablabla-saba-saba gyud)...so I left & ate my lunch at Jollibee...or brunch I suppose.

Not to mention, Sunday is really boring; it's everybody's rest day; a different day for me though from how everyone treats it...I have this as a whole-day-stroll.

My cellphone's out of battery. 've been carrying it since I left the dormitory...looking for any charging-shops or whatever it's called (my charger was wrecked). I have Nick's id and the keys he asked me to mail to his uncle, but apparently the delivery services today are closed. I also have my backpack here with a few things inside that I might need later (2 notebooks, a thesaurus, a pen, a bible) and..a few things I bought from Lee mall after the mass at the VCF center.

Friendless perhaps... not just a whole-day-stroll, but a ...whole-day-solo (haha).

My wallet's emptying...and I'm not yet quite sure where to head next. I don't want to go back to the dormitory yet, and besides, the NOT-SO-NICE atmosphere is still bugging me in there, and surely WILL.
